I made a bargain with the Reaper,
It cost heart and soul.
Now he is my keeper,
The Death Bell tolls.
The mournful Raven's cry,
I will never lay down and die.
Name cursed as darkness,
Life for the weak.
Evil shown in starkness,
Goodness for the meek.
Love is for the mild,
Heart is lost in sin.
Hate is for the wild,
I shall never let you in,
This is my own Hell.
Many mock and jeer,
They have never known the feel.
They only know fear,
The drone of the bell.
Darkness is pure,
Light is shadowed.
Feeling is a lure,
For Death that is hallowed.
The name cries forth,
Its meaning of pain.
It brings no warmth,
Only a cold rain.
My price for power,
My heart and soul.
Forever shall hate shower,
Never shall the Death Bell toll...
